I pride myself on my approachability, thoughtful approach to medical management and technical capabilities in endoscopy.Having trained in New York City, I have worked with patients of all backgrounds with a spectrum of different pathologies. My training encompassed significant experience within general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel diseases, motility disorders, hepatology, pancreaticobiliary diseases, as well as wide variety of advanced endoscopic techniques. I am currently practicing general gastroenterology with a special interest in obesity and reflux disease. I am a people person who values interpersonal connections in order to promote a strong and effective team environment. I love to travel, and I especially enjoy learning about other cultures through local cuisine. I often use these experiences to find a common thread to strengthen my patient relationships. Developing a strong doctor-patient bond, as well as implementing my Obesity medicine training and fitness background, helps to treat my patients with NAFLD and obesity. I have training in endobariatric therapies for patients who do not respond to non-invasive management. I also have experience with Barrett’s therapy and Trans-oral Incisionless Fundoplication for the management of GERD, which is often found concomitantly in patients with obesity.
