Head of Product Development and Client Deliveries for Digital, Documents, Feed services provided by FE.

Product Manager for two flagship products at FE (60+ clients from key financial institutions)- Responsible for teams of Developers / Business Analysts / Quality Assurance Engineers. With experience of managing both onshore and offshore employees.- Manage all aspects of the products from conception to delivery.- Report directly to key stakeholders- Responsible for driving project innovation & new technologies (including responsive design for tablets/mobiles)- The role requires a firm business understanding of website development and strong experience/knowledge of the Financial industry- Implement key processes - working in both Agile and Waterfall environments- Planning and analysis - both long-term road maps and short-term sprints- Complete multiple feasibility studies for potential product extensions.- Oversee all client implementations, and responsible for providing propositions based on client requirements.- Employ/train/develop new Business Analysts- Manage resource levels- Manage product accounts/revenue figures/accrualsOutside of the products:- Producing business cases at strategic level for new implementations / products outside of the two products I currently manage (example is a company wide Content Management System). These are in depth feasibility studies presented to the operational board for future consideration.

Working within a customer implementations team working on projects for Financial Institutions. Depending on the type/size of the project the role included both Business Analysis and Project Management.Daily activities included:- Pre-sales support including advice on project feasibility and cost estimates- Attending face-to-face client meetings for project kick off and requirement capture- Overseeing the creation and refinement of designs- Capturing requirements and creating specification documents- Overseeing development progress against agreed milestones- Delivery and integration work through to BAU- Assessing timescales / risks.- Regular client meetings to monitor project progress.- Second line support for existing projectsAs a senior member of the team my role extended to:- Training and mentoring newer members of the team- Enhancing / refining the development process including creating specification templates.- Quotations and feasibility studies- Responsible for maintaining documentation for ISO accreditation- Managing during absence periods / holidays.
