In SAP I have been doing Master Data Governance for 12 years. This includes update manufacturers information for obsolete part numbers and descriptions with up to date descriptions and part numbers. Communicate with different reliability engineers to determine criticality of material and required updates for existing PSM material already created in SAP. Set-up Quality Information Records for PSM Critical Material (QI01). Update Quality Information Records for PSM Critical Material (QI02). Review usage reports of material on hand (MB51). Run metrics of material usage for cost analyst on unit and site level reports (ZMM60 & MB51). Update locations and quantity of material on site (MM02). Update cycle count information and frequency of inventory validations (MM02). Adjust Safety Stock in accordance with business units demand (MM02). Work with vendors and manufactures to ensure the correct material is being ordered. Monitors inventory levels for the site and the different individual units. Tracks material usage per site and unit level. Organizes the SAP MRO team to lead inventory control practices and follow procedures already put in place. Reviews and revises best practices for conducting the sub stores inventory process. Implements material procurers and follow corporate guidelines for inventory control. Reviews Safety Stock amounts to help minimize the amount of unnecessary parts and products in storage.
