I am a Director in PwC's Capital Project & Infrastructure team. I specialise in providing advice to, and transforming, mega projects in the UK and globally. I've been providing advice to private and public sector clients for the past 13 years, in the past year I have: - Transformed the programme controls and ways of working at a new build nuclear development company;- Implemented the PRISM Cost Management System and transformed behaviors on the extension of a European metro line; and-I am currently supporting the leadership team of a £multi-billion defence programme to restructure delivery, enabling savings to be realised.

Outlined below is a sample of projects I have delivered in the past three years.Asia High Speed Rail ReviewI led the historic cost and programme controls review at a significantly delayed, over budget and complex greenfield high speed rail project in Asia, on behalf of a public inquiry. Project Controls TransformationI led the programme controls transformation on the £multi-billion European metro upgrade programme. I led a multi-disciplinary team that that reviewed the existing programme controls (cost, schedule, risk, change, reporting), designed new processes and implemented these. This included integrating multiple systems (SAP, ARM, Primavera, ASite) and implementing a cost management system (PRISM G2). Global Steel ManufacturerI was a key team member on the review of a global steel manufacturer's $multi-billion development of a new mine and manufacturing plant on a green field site. I assessed costs incurred to date and projected cost to complete and supported my engineering colleague review the programme's schedule and scope.Dispute ResolutionI led the delivery of an open book review and supported my client's expert witness prepare their report on a £70m contractual dispute. My client settled pre-arbitration with the defendant on favorable terms.Ship Building ProgrammeI led the on-site review of the cost to date and forecast cost to complete a major £multi-billion shipbuilding programme. I worked closely with my client and their four key contractors to verify and validate the projected cost to complete the programme.
