Assigned as the Command Theater Integration Analyst (TIA) for Southwest Asia within the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) Command Business Office. Serves as the Commanding General's primary advisor and technical authority for the Command's presence and support within Southwest Asia (SWA). Senior authority providing the Commanding General and senior leadership situational awareness of Theater actions and articulates NETCOM Headquarters vision to Commands within Theater. Represents the Command in conferences, meetings, boards, and other engagements within Theater. Prepares and informs the Commanding General for engagements with senior key leaders in Theater. Serves as the primary responsible agent to the Command Group to integrate mission management efforts, timelines, and dependencies for Theater-related Enterprise technology initiatives. Develops professional relationships with senior leaders and key staff of all echelons within Theater in order to serve as their advocate for mission and management issues or concerns that need to be raised to senior NETCOM leadership for addressing or awareness. Accompanies the Commanding General and other senior leaders for assigned Theater travel, acting as the primary point of contact for all Theater activities and engagements. Provides Theater integration and synchronization of NETCOM technology and program/project management initiatives with those conducted by NETCOM Theater Signal Commands, and/or supported Theater tenant organizations. Advises the Command Group, Theater Signal Commands, and other senior leaders, in developing Theater strategies and organizational processes to better position NETCOM for current and future operations within Theater. Provides subject matter expertise to the Command's resource managers in the programming, prioritization, and execution of the Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) budget in excess of $60,000,000 (sixty million dollars) annually.

Authors annual Command Plans, defining alignment, functions, and scalability, while factoring evolving mission and organizational focus. Assigned as the Deputy Information Assurance Manager working all facets of IA for the United States Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), Assistant Chief of Staff G-6 (ACofS, G6). Authored and published command-wide regulations, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP), best business practices (BBP) and policies. Interpreted guidance, concepts, principles, methodologies and practices from DoD and CIO/G-6 to leverage within NETCOM and its' subordinate commands. Represented the command in meetings, conferences and data-calls with CIO/G-6 and adjacent organizations, at times making decisions impacting personnel, allocation of resources, commitment of funds or measures impacting command Information Assurance assets. Received, reviewed, defended and executed MS4X funding requirements for the command. Served as focal point within the command for Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) data collection and reporting. Collected weekly FISMA statistics, coordinated with subordinate commands on reporting shortfalls and worked on solutions to raise overall compliance. Provided oversight and guidance to headquarters staff for the creation and submission of DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) accreditation packages. Managed multiple areas in preparation for the FY2011 Department of Army Inspector General (DAIG) inspection of the Information Assurance program for NETCOM Headquarters, which the Headquarters passed. Worked with subordinate commands within NETCOM to identify and correct ATCTS reporting and certification issues. Was assigned as IA subject matter expert (SME) to the NETCOM G-4 Assessments of Contracts for Efficiencies (ACE) Team, providing consultation and guidance to ensure contract packages satisfied DoD 8570.01-M certification requirements and required IA language. Assigned as an Information Technology Specialist supporting the San Francisco Financial Center. This position served as a senior systems administrator with responsibility to analyze and define network requirements; architecture and infrastructure design; monitor network capacity and performance; develop backup & recovery procedures; and manage facility lifecycle replacement.
