Smit Lamnalco bought Pacific Basins share in PB Towage, so same role but new owners. Was the focal point in initial transition for new owners understanding detail behind results and forecasts until migration to their own accounting platform.

PB Towage (Australia) were a harbour towage tug boat operator, formed when Pacific Basin bought AMS. Initially a fledgling 6 tug, 3 port operator with modest market share that struggled to compete against the behemoth competitor, AP Moller owned Maersk. Pacific Basin injected $100M in capital to upgrade the fleet and add scale, and the business reached.

Overseeing Accounting teams for PB Towage (Australia) and PB Sea-Tow, which meant sharing time and quite a lot of travel to NZ. Monthly results, budgets and forecasts, commercial focus, tax and audit compliance, Company Secretary, multi-currency multi-entity environment.- Leadership both teams including receuitment. Team of 5 in Auckland and 8 in Sydney.
