David Dimmock is passionately changing the care of people living with rare disease, most recently leading the development of an individualized therapy for a child with an ultra-rare disease. He has been the Principal investigator on more than 20 Industry-sponsored clinical trials for novel therapeutics in orphan metabolic disease. David has had a significant impact in the field of human genomics research, both as the senior author on pivotal papers and with key roles in NIH funded studies. He has a strong academic background with over 25 years of clinical experience. His medical practice has focused on the identification of rare disorders through newborn screening and advanced genomic techniques and the subsequent care for children and adults with Metabolic and Mitochondrial disorders.
