Dinerstein was in charge of the Domestic Distribution and the International Sales operation at Lakeshore Entertainment, a prominent financing, production, distribution and international sales company. The company produced a diverse slate of films including “Elegy,” “Million Dollar Baby,” “The Ugly Truth,” “Fame,” “Crank,” and “Underworld.” Dinerstein was also responsible for the international distribution of Lakeshore’s library of over 500 titles. In addition, he was in charge of overseeing the marketing and distribution of the studios domestic film slate.

Dinerstein co-founded Paramount Vantage, where he supervised all aspects of the feature film business, including co-production, acquisitions, business affairs, finance, operations, marketing, and distribution. During his tenure, the company acquired, produced and distributed over 50 films including the Academy Award winner, “Hustle & Flow” starring Terrence Howard, and the award-winning “Mad Hot Ballroom”, one of the highest grossing documentaries of all time. Dinerstein also distributed Sofia Coppola’s debut feature “The Virgin Suicides,” and Kenny Lonergan’s “You Can Count On Me,” which received two Oscar nominations.
