Dill Manufacturing was founded in 1909 in Cleveland, Ohio. Dill began manufacturing tire covers for tire valves. The valve caps were used on the Model T and eventually other vehicles. In 1955, Dill began production of the rubber snap-in tire valve. The snap-in revolutionized the passenger car market and the basic design is still used today. What later became named as Eaton Corporation acquired Dill in 1961 and moved the business from Cleveland to Roxboro, NC. Eaton named the business as their Air Controls Division.Eaton continued to successfully operate the business and continued to make new products for different markets and applications. During 2004, the business sold over 1,000 different products to approximately 600 customers throughout the world. On March 16, 2005, the division's assets were sold and Dill Air Controls was formed. The specialized equipment and machines were moved to Oxford, NC and many of the skilled employees were retained. Dill has flourished in Oxford, introducing new products to various industries. Dill has become the leader in the automotive aftermarket for tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) replacement sensors, valve stems, service kits, and mechanical tools.

Division Controller over three medium sized manufacturing entities ranging from $40 million in sales to $130 million. I eventually assume General Management responsibilities for one of these business which eventually was spun-off under an Asset Purchase Agreement and Dill Air Controls was formed where I ran that business for three years.
