Professionally my passion is, quality control, quality assurance, regulatory auditing, food safety, adding value to an organization, and developing my teams. I have over 23 years of building food safety and regulatory programs in the food industry, considering product and process improvement, and staying ahead of an ever-changing customer and regulatory environment. In my current role with Pacific Coast Fruit Company, I work with an amazing assortment of leaders. I chose to work with PCF to expand my product and process experience, and help the company navigate the exciting growth opportunities. I "grew up" in food safety from the ground floor with Pacific Seafood starting in 1996. During the subsequent 20+ years I became an expert in Seafood HACCP and Product Quality. I also became well versed in operating from a position of influence to move heavy obstacles motivate teams, and obtain buy-in from cross functional groups and organizations.Outside of work, spending time with family and friends is a priority. I also spend time writing and playing music, expanding my understanding of music theory, fishing and riding motorcycles. I am always looking for opportunities to mentor and consult with the next generation of food safety professionals.
