Foreman on the Urban Superway Project which is a $842 million dollar project that will create a 4.8km non-stop North-South corridor between the Southern Expressway and the Port River Expressway in Adelaide.My primary responsibilities were the supervision and coordination of employees and subcontractors within the pre cast yard. This involved the preparation of mould design, mould assembly, match casting, segment concrete mix designs, improving casting cycle times, and segment erection. Other responsibilities were: • Maintain effective consultation with worker representatives on industrial, safety and consultative committees.• Ensure all staff were aware of their duties and provide feedback on a regular basis to promote effective performance.• Deal with workforce industrial issues as they arise.• Accurately complete diary notes, daily costing records including supplier, subcontractor dockets and records to ensure control of costs (materials/labour/plant).• Ensure that accurate timesheets (from employees and subcontractors) are submitted to site administrator, in accordance to specific deadlines.• Conduct daily prestart and weekly toolbox meetings.• Conduct formal safety inspections of work areas on a regular basis• Close out all defects within three months of practical completion. Report regularly to the Precast Manager on a production and employee matter.The casting yard used approximately 11 000 tonnes of steel reinforcement and 57 000 cubic metres of concrete to make the 2 203 segments that comprise the elevated road.The forms used to cast the concrete segments are capable of match casting - a procedure for manufacturing precast segments. This is where a given segment is cast against the previous segment, producing a matching interface that permits re-establishment of the cast geometry as it's erected.

My primary responsibility was the supervision and coordination of employees and subcontractors. I was responsible for the setting out and installation of pre-cast panels and the co-ordination of these panels being lifted and positioned on each level via crane. I was also responsible for the setting out, construction and installation of Ischebeck or Meva formwork structures and fixtures to complete the new high-rise apartments Eclipse in Broadbeach as well as The Twin Towers Hilton Hotel in Surfers Paradise. In my position I use various tools to complete my work and these include chisels, hammers, saws, drills, laser level and nails guns.

My primary role was Pre-Cast Foreman, which was to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the pre-cast yard. I supervised and coordinated activities for workers engaged in assembly of precut wood and metal forms for molding reinforced concrete slabs and beams, and pouring and finishing of concrete: I worked on lay out and marked measurements for assembly of new forms on prepared molding floor, from blueprints and drawings. My role was also to direct and guide fellow workers in the mixing and pouring of concrete into molds, to finish concrete to impart uniform texture, using trowel, floats, and other hand tools or work aids. I also directed them in the release of tension on reinforcing members during drying and curing process, to impart slight arc and increase strength of concrete.I was also required to provided recommendations and prepare regular programmed reports to ensure forward planning was maintained and potential delays minimised. I co-ordinated all direct trades, organised and undertook site meetings and ensured good communication with respect to schedules, information, planning, quality and workmanship. I also ensured that all work was completed in accordance with the drawings, program and specification. I was also in charge of ordering all materials needed to complete each project.Projects included: Southport Central 1, 2 and 3, Freshwater Point at Broadbeach, Artique Resort at Broadbeach, Allisee Apartments at Hollywell and many other high rise projects, car parks and shopping centre projects on the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
