Initial responsibility included memorizing marketing and sales material within the first week of hiring. My job was to create appointments for our in house Estimators. The average Outbound Marketer was expected to make between 5-10 appt. (ok) up to 15 appt.(very good) in their first week. I made 28 appointments in my first five days. From there I averaged 20-30 appointments a week, way above the 15 appt. benchmark. Within the first 4 months of being hired I was promoted to Team Leader and then Team Mentor. I won Marketer of the month for Chicago during the holidays, which is the most difficult time to canvas during the year. I also was #1 in appointments out of 11 offices and 800 Marketers for the entire company in the month of December. As Team Mentor I was in charge of a team of six people. Some of the responsibilities included picking territory, training employees, coaching marketing strategies, and being involved in Manager meetings with our Regional Vice President. More then just producing numbers, there was a huge emphasis on creating a fun and hard working environment. The best way I knew to inspire my team was leading by example, not cutting any corners and helping build the confidence of anyone who was struggling. I designed boom box audio equipment using antique suitcases and high end audio equipment. I managed volunteers and subcontractor engineers to manufacture multiple variations. I helped develop and design the website. I managed all the social media, product orders, inventory, and events. I continually looked to make the product and business better in every way. Tested and installed large scale wifi equipment in high rise residential complexes in Chicago. Worked closely with the CEO on quality control, customer satisfaction, and technical performance.

Crew Member- Worked the cash registers, received and unloaded deliveries, stocked shelves, building displays, cleaned floors, answered customer questions about Trader Joe’s products, and ensured a fun, friendly and informative shopping experience for customers.
