About David Dolengewicz
As a life-long musician I was attracted to focus my EE studies on DSP because of its relationship to audio production and sound in general. Since earning my EE degree from the University of Washington, I've gone on to work first as an environmental and architectural acoustician at Greenbusch where I provided acoustical consultation to architectural design teams, performed standardized architectural acoustical tests, and was responsible for environmental sound and vibration monitoring and reporting.Since Greenbusch I have spent the past 5 years employed as an audio SQA engineer, first in a contract position at Microsoft, and then as a full time engineer at Amazon. At Microsoft I became adept at Using high end hardware by HB&K, HEAD, and Audio Precision to perform standardized audio hardware and Skype/Teams comms testing. At Amazon I've been primarily testing VoIP performance on a variety of Echo devices. As a full time Amazonian, I've been the SQA engineer in charge of VoIP tuning for all of the new FireTV models released over the last 3 years with a focus on troubleshooting test failures, designing and improving audio test automation routines, and data collection.Thanks for checking out my profile and feel free to email me directly at DavidDolengewicz@gmail.com.
