Over the last 20 years I have developed as expert and leader in Cost Engineering in major Land and Maritime programmes. This year I achieved Certified Professional Cost Engineer status with the Association of Cost Engineers (ACostE). As a result and taking into account my experience I was elected as a Fellow of ACostE. I continue to develop my skills to enable me to be seen as arole model by those I am responsible for. My recent key achievements are providing advice to heads of major programmes on negotiation levers during contract negotiations to enable value for money agreements. The advice was based on evidenced based assessments by myself and the teams I led through gathering of information, enquiry and challenge with Major Prime Contractors. During my career I gained a Graduate Certificate in Earned Value Management from College of Performance Management and Performance Management Institute and I achieved Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst from The International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA).I have led and been a member of Earned Value Management Systems reviews at Integrated Baseline and Demonstration Reviews on Maritime, Land and Air projects.
