The BIM / Office Standards Manager position included the following responsibilities:• Determine the needs and requirements of the company with regard to implementing BIM.• Implement BIM in the workplace including staff training and mentorship.• Liaise with other organisations and disciplines to ensure fully integrated models are co-ordinated correctly.• Synchronise various models to check for conflicts throughout projects.• Maintain the link between objects and data extractions during the BIM process.• Liaise with Software Suppliers with regard to technical issues that arise from time to time.• Develop office standards for use in the company.• Investigate 3rd party add-on programs and report back to the directors on whether they are suitable for company needs.• Assist users in developing their skills.
