Throughout my 25+ year career as a School Psychologist and 15+ years in clinical private practice, I have been fortunate to have worked with diverse clientele in elementary, high school, and college settings which has provided me invaluable experience and understanding of development and critical issues across the ages. This has enabled me to develop effective relationships and interventions for those in my care.My private practice focuses on interventions for issues that negatively impact individuals' daily functioning such as ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, learning disabilities, social skill deficits, and related parent training. I utilize modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and family systems approaches as I support clients and their families. In addition, I complete independent psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults, including those required to validate accommodations for SAT/ACT exams and for future college endeavorsMy work with adult clients focuses on applying a CBT approach to understanding and utilizing emotions to empower oneself and decreasing the negative impact of anxiety, depression, and anger in one's life in order to improved daily functioning and relationships.
