Retired Military (as of 07/31/2015) - Senior Naval Officer with Surface Warfare experience. A Proven effective Leader with 23 years of U.S. Navy management and training. Certified as ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance Auditor. Looking for the next great passion in my life. I enjoy coming up with innovative solutions to complex problems. As a former Chief of Staff I am well versed in contract reviews, HR department dealing with federal employees (union and non union) as well as military personnel, safety and quality assurance, and Training and records management. I have served in a variety of crisis and emergency planning contingencies in some of the most extreme environments around the world. I am a proven leader with excellent team building skills working with Sailors, Marines, and Ships. I am excited for new opportunities. I am very interested in emergency management, project management, quality assurance, computers, innovative software, databases, and knowledge management, but would be comfortable trying out other avenues as long as it is something I can be passionate about. Always willing to listen to job offers, but not sure what it would take to do a longer commute or different schedule
