During that time he's been part of building out a highly collaborative, highly effective software architecture team that was pivotal in embecta's success in achieving 510k clearance of our pump. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and has an enormous breadth of experience in cloud and cybersecurity and was essential in both of those aspects of our filing with the FDA. Our system was highly complex and required integration of many different subsystems that needed to coexist reliably and securely and he was integral in navigating our team through it all. What was most impressive was how he handled it all. There was immense pressure and a tight deadline and despite being at the center of so many moving pieces, he was always calm and level headed and managed the stress seamlessly. Through it all he sought to always improve himself and his team and was pulling in external stakeholders to see how they could move faster and more effectively. He's highly collaborative and so was his team and I know he drove how that group integrated with our systems team and other groups they interacted with. He's also been a great mentor to me personally as I branched out in my own career to learn more about software enabled systems. He's given great advice and helped me navigate how to handle architecture, requirements, and specifications.
