I served through a Minnesota AmeriCorps program at Chaska Middle School West in Chaska, MN and the Cannon River STEM School in Faribault, MN. My goal was to help improve the high school graduation rate in Minnesota by monitoring students in 6th-8th grade who have shown specific risk factors for dropping out. I did this by:- Created an automatic scheduler in Python, and several data tracking programs in Excel- Tracked data of 60+ students over a 2-year period- Improved attendance of 65% of tracked youth - Provided academic instruction, increased GPA of 40% of youth- Contacted and problem solved with parents and teachers

I worked at the indoor rock wall at Luther. I also helped work at the outdoor ropes course and have been certified by ACCT. I was responsible for wall maintenance and the safety of our patrons.

as an guide at Luther's Outdoor Recreation department I was in charge of leading groups of people safely through different sorts of trips. Ranging from canoeing trips, camping trips, to caving and other activities.

I assisted a licensed teacher while working with and entertaining a group of 20 preschool students.
