My strength as a writer lies within my flexibility. I am able to write in a variety of different styles and so can adapt to any task I am set. If a piece needs to be concise and direct, then I am capable of writing in an informative yet restrained way.However I truly shine when allowed off the leash somewhat. I have the ability to inject passion and creative flair to my prose without compromising on getting the message across. This results in my writing being both informative and entertaining to read.Due to a strong academic background in history, I am well trained in the art of research. Before beginning any piece I ensure that my knowledge of the subject is total. From there I can allow the prose to flow fluidly without straying off tangent. I also have experience as an editor and had to edit my own works. This is crucial to note because it shows that I have a critical approach to my own work, and will go through everything that I write with fine toothed comb.
