Managed the financial operations of FEI Company, a US listed global capital equipment manufacturer with approximately $1 billion in revenue. Responsibilities included:- Finance support for the COO and his management team;- Led corporate projects for the CEO, including a gross margin improvement program which helped improve the company’s gross margins from 39% to 50% in 5 years;- Managed the global FP&A activities which included migrating the planning processes off of spreadsheets and onto a fully integrated planning system (EPM);- Participated in the company’s strategic planning process and was responsible for preparation of related financial projections and analysis;- Supported the company’s M&A activities, including valuations, due diligence and post-acquisition integration;- Led projects to upgrade the company’s ERP system;- Drove the company’s internal control compliance process costs down from approximately $5 million to under $1 million, annually.- Responsible for SEC and US GAAP compliance;- Responsible for a global finance team of approximately 75 staff members.
