As the Capital Projects Manager, I manage all capital projects at our manufacturing facilities. This includes researching new equipment, negotiating pricing with suppliers, tracking progress and ETA of new equipment, scheduling contractors and overseeing the commissioning of the new equipment. I oversee the services from outside providers for the facilities. This includes researching the outside vendors to make sure we are not sacrificing quality during cost reduction through negotiations. I assist in purchasing, parts research, and vendor relations for the maintenance department. I assist the Purchasing agent in sourcing and purchasing BOM materials for daily operations in the manufacturing process. I have the lead in designing, planning and implementing a complete 2nd facility from empty warehouse to full manufacturing capabilities. This includes working closely with the utilities companies as well as contractors. Planning and permits take part in this process as well. I assist OEM manufacturing Technicians during installation and commissioning of new equipment. I use creative negotiating techniques to reduce cost and increase overall profitability for our company.

 Performing a variety of highly responsible and complex administrative duties in support of the CFO Reviewing service contracts to firm up a LTA that works best for the company. Creating requisitions for facility supplies and services needed daily. Converting requisitions into purchase orders and updating pricing. Working with departments to better understand their needs.  Working with vendors on ordering and timeliness. Responsible for communications with vendors to relate our needs for future purchases. Managing the facilities maintenance technicians. Scheduling preventative maintenance on all equipment for two locations. Purchasing parts needed for PM’s as well as repairs on all equipment. Assisting EH&S manager in providing a safe work environment.

 Managed stock levels on fasteners and misc. drawer stock for over 70 customers. Managed Distribution warehouse inventory levels to support over 200 accounts. Created PO’s to support min/max stock levels for distribution warehouse. Inside/Outside Sales. Cold calling on new accounts. Worked closely with the owners to secure the best pricing in relation to product demand Implemented use of secondary and third backup supplier list to assure parts didn’t have extended lead times. Negotiated pricing and price breaks on all products. Communicated with suppliers on incorrect products received to make sure the correct parts were re-shipped.
