My primary responsibility at the College is to identify, research, and facilitate development of new career education programs and Workforce Training opportunities based on the current and anticipated workforce needs of the NFCC district and business community. I want to be able to assist the further economic development in this region of North Florida by helping provide the skilled work force that is needed in order to bring responsible industry to the area, and support our existing industries with their training and education needs.

  Upon semi-retiring from my Associate Dean position at North Florida Community College, I consulted on grants and assisted the college through the transition process. I have begun to learn a new trade, as arborist, and I find the work as challenging as I do rewarding. So much so, I am in the process of opening my own company as I continue to work with Kinney Tree Works to gain knowledge and experience.
