Expert technical resource for design and deployment of Microsoft SharePoint infrastructures. Engineers SharePoint farms utilizing best practices, proper utilization of server resources to maximize performance and the implementation of security measures minimize vulnerabilities. Actively maintains four lab farms consisting of 27 virtual servers. Works with development team to test, deploy and implement custom solutions. Provides upgrade strategies, technical guidance and Tier III troubleshooting for the operation of USASOC’s production 2007 and 2010 farms, supporting approximately 20,000 personnel. Key Contributions:• Designed migration strategy of USASOC’s MOSS 2007 farm; provided documentation, hardware requirements, risk and analysis studies, timelines, and architectural diagrams and support agency tasks• Executed multiple medium size farm migrations from MOSS 2007 to SPS 2010, providing various courses of action, to include: SQL detach / attach, PowerShell, stsadm, Metalogix, and DocAve• Authored 120+ page, step-by-step SharePoint 2010 Installation Guide detailing configuration of servers, farm installation, configuration of web applications, security, and implementation of service applications• Architected SharePoint 2010 farm consisting 3 Web Front Ends, 4 Application Servers and SQL Cluster• Configured Office Web Applications, Service Applications, Enterprise Search, and select BI components • Successfully migrated 82 production site collections from MOSS 2007 farm to SharePoint 2010 using SQL attach methodology using custom 100+ line PowerShell script, which automates the entire process
