Team lead and RF engineer for the Ethanol Vapor Sensor project under Professor Peter Weiss in the Chemistry Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Work included leading a team of seven to design, build, and implement a system that measured toxic levels of ethanol being emitted from wineries. Responsibilities include leading team meeting, task delegation, and making decisions on design and direction. As an electrical engineer, my skills were used to focus on the wireless aspect of the system, designing and drafting schematics for a RF system, making trade off reports, and routing and building systems that met the deliverables for our client. Additionally, testing, reporting, and documentation were skill learned, as well as public speaking events and tabling for our product.

Sensor Technician designing and integrating systems that measured environmental toxins and pollutants. Focused on two projects. First was an apparatus that measured 4 toxic air pollutants, for academic instruction and deployment in highly polluted areas. Second was a continuations of a year long project that tackled the issue of ground level ozone being created by ethanol emissions from wineries. Work included system design, drafting schematics, routing PCBs, and documenting progress with reports and SOPs.

My job shifted from being a clerk to becoming a barista. Responsibilities include producing and guaranteeing quality coffee, maintaining a clean and efficient work place, and engaging with customers in intentional and genuine interactions. I am able to dial in and produce third wave espresso, including latte art. More than just that, I must keep up with the chores and duties that allow the shop to operate on a daily basis, which includes preparing and arranging food, brewing and preparing artisanal coffee and tea, and cleaning and organizing most everything. I am also in charge of inventory for the shop, meaning I must make sure to take stock, place orders, and assure that we have what we need to run on a daily basis.
