I have created over a dozen software products, while managing a team of programmers. I started in 1999 building an e-commerce platform for the leading dance shoe company in the United States, and then started my own software company in 2005 with the release of phpLD.phpLD has been installed on over 200,000 websites, and was the #1 product in its niche for about 7 years. It is a software product that creates a directory of businesses and websites. People involved in search engine optimization (SEO) used the product extensively from 2005 until the present. However, in the last couple of years there has been an overall decline in the SEO as a whole, and the product is not as widely used. That said, phpLD has been profitable every year since 2005.The Jobs Manager is another software product I use internally. It handles communications between my development team and my clients, so that work instructions are organized, and communications are timely. It also helps me keep track of billing and hours worked. The Jobs Manager started as a tool to help me manage phpLD customers, but as the software business has grown, I now use it to manage all of our customers.Dance Studio Manager is now our primary business. It is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to that powers dance studios around the world. However, it is not limited to dance and also powers other similar businesses. DSMs features include use of online payment systems, messaging, class management, barcode and RFID check in, online registration and much more.Additionally, our team has built CRMs for- a data recovery businesses- the programming team at Swisscom- a contractor networkI've been involved in hundreds of website and software projects, and always enjoy the process of creating a plan, and managing the details.
