Site Computer Technician
CurrentAssesses/troubleshoot hardware and/or software applications for the purpose ofdetermining appropriate actions to maintain computer and other technologicaloperations; support student intervention programs; input, manage and monitor studentdata and support intervention programs, assessment programs, etc; coordinate labschedules; assist students and staff in educational technology projects and/orprograms; maintain software programs by setting up classes, maintaining studentdatabases and troubleshooting programs (Includes contact with software companies tofix problems); coordinates with the ITS department to ensure District security accesspolicies are enforced and that technology meets District standards; install computerhardware and software applications for the purpose of providing support to teachersand other school site staff and maintain lab environment; inventories computerhardware, software, and other equipment, including e-textbooks, for the purpose ofmaintaining inventory; troubleshoots hardware/software problems; provide training asneeded to site, personnel, and students in the operation of technology equipment andsoftware; assist staff with online testing; manage and maintain school’s onlinepresence: i.e. website, social media; manage and monitor use of computer programsand print reports when needed for staff; attend district trainings as scheduled; maintaincomputer lab, mobile carts, and other devices; performs other related duties asrequired; inventory and deal with warranty of hardware on site.
