David Dycus is the Manager for Emerging Capabilities in the C4 & Missile Defense Business Unit at Northrop Grumman Defense Systems. He has been with Northrop Grumman since 2014 and had supported various domestic and international pursuits. In his current role, he manages a $10M+ portfolio of research and development projects.He began his career at Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) as an engineer on the Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM). As an engineer for EADSIM, Mr. Dycus led several software enhancement projects, was a primary instructor of the EADSIM User's Training Course, and had the opportunity to support U.S. and international wargames and exercises. Mr. Dycus received multiple commendations from the THAAD Project Office for his support of wargames and exercises.Before returning to TBE in 2008, Mr. Dycus led the design, development, and testing of the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense System Simulation (GMDSIM) Framework. As a part of this project, he recruited and built a team of engineers that designed, developed, and delivered a working distributed simulation of the GMD system in less than 6 months. Mr. Dycus also lead the design of the interface between GMDSIM and the DSA Extended Modeling Framework.From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Dycus was a Business Development manager at TBE.
