Also key is the managing and training of Romanian Project Team Staff to support the growing business needs. Programme Manager, Cubewano Ltd. Cubewano Ltd was a SME focused on engine design and manufacturing for unmanned vehicles and power generation in the aerospace, military, and commercial markets. Cubewano specialised in small high power dense engines capable of burning multiple types of fuels including heavy fuels such as JP-8 and JetA1. All engines were fuel injected and ECU controlled and were available from 4hp to 20hp in both air cooled and liquid cooled variants.Main Tasks included the managing of a number of NPI (New Product Introduction) projects from initial bid phase through to production. Main Tasks included Customer Relationship Management, Change Management, Cost & Pricing Control, Risk Management and Bid Management. My job role was both externally and inwardly facing working with both external customers and internal stakeholders (i.e. Operations, Senior Management).Main programmes included; the design, certification and supply of a heavy-fuel engines (Reno 42 LC heavy-fuel, liquid-cooled rotary engine) for the US Army BCTM Class1 UAV program. Tasks included the certification of new tools, technologies and equipment. Planned Preventive Maintenance and Equipment Care Programs. Also responsibilities included site wide infrastructure projects (re-roofing, furnace water cooling systems, etc.) and managing of two departments with 32 personnel.

This was done utilising a bespoke piece of Word Perfect 5.1 Macro driven programming (that I personally wrote) to mimic the German Mainframe computer system, in operation at the time; that was not available in the UK facility. FORD UK SQA were very interested in marketing the product to help other supplier achieve the required Q1 status. I also completed all Product and Process Audit and all FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports) within the UK site. Ultimately, by the end of my time working at Johnson Controls I had also adopted the role of Production Engineer for the Ford Safety Seat and Rover Theta Seat assembly lines.Customers included; Jaguar Land Rover, Rover, Ford, Vauxhall, Honda, Johnson Controls (UK) Ltd, Keiper Recaro GmbH and BFA/T
