The goal of the project was to rearchitect an $18M Oracle solution to ensure proper reflection of operations and profitability. The individual utilized best accounting practices and eliminated inefficient PO systems, and integrated vendors’ ordering system to optimize billing and identify cost-effective purchasing strategies. The result of this project was to improve the accuracy of operations and profitability, and also optimize and improve the cost-effectiveness of the company's purchasing strategies. Business Planning: collaborated with others and obtained $30 million in funding for a hemp farm in Southern Oregon. The hemp farm is of focus due to the shifting legal and economic status of the hemp industry. I was involved in crafting the business plan and preparing financial projections, as well as originating an investment synopsis for prospective investors. The goal of this project was to triple the investment by the end of the year of 2019. The goal was to get enough funding to start a farm, making business projection and finding potential investors. Operational Efficiency: as CFO for Global Marketing International, which is a distribution company for Panasonic products. I took actions to reduce company overhead, improve efficiencies, and strengthen the company's bottom line by implementing sound inventory management and shipping systems. I also developed reporting solutions that could quickly import large amounts of orders, which resulted in a two-thirds reduction in staff and improved same-day shipment and customer service. I have strong knowledge and experience in logistics, operational efficiencies and cost management. This resulted in streamlined operation and cost savings. Real Estate Development: Took advantage of an opportunity to enter the real estate development industry by founding two land development companies in the State of Illinois. Under one of these companies, Bright Properties, Inc, I was involved in developing desirable residential, multifamily and retail properties.
