Operational Responsibility for all Peri-operative Services (Pre-Anesthesia/Surgical Testing; Same-Day Surgery; 16 theater Operating Room; Post Anesthesia Care Unit; GI Endoscopy Lab; ) Plans, directs, and monitors all business and clinical activities within the department. Strategy execution which involves scanning the competitive environment, leading business planning process and providing strategies to drive profitable service line growth while reducing costs per case. Developing business case's, including financials, for new program development and capital projects and growth strategies. Increase operational efficiencies through driving process improvement; monitoring key operational and financial metrics while ensuring physician and staff satisfaction. Improving clinical outcomes through empowerment of clinical leaders to work with staff in the alignment of departmental and organizational and removing barriers for clinical practice as needed. Ensuring that oversight, processes and resources are in place to improve clinical outcomes

Oversee daily operations and staffing of following outpatient departments; Operating Room, PACU, SDS, PST, Endoscopy, Pain Management Clinic, Orthopedic Clinic, GI Clinic.Responsible for the Planning and Implementation and daily operations of The Bone and Joint Center, an orthopedic center of excellence for joint replacement and sports medicine. Compliance officer for hospital tissue transplant program, responsible for NYSDOH, HICFA and JCAHO standards and compliance Negotiate all vendor contractual agreements relating to equipment and soft good product purchases in all surgical specialty service-lines Responsible for all operating and capital budget forecasting and expenditures Responsible for proper Medicare coding for all new product lines to ensure appropriate reimbursement Implemented strategic planning for charges to assure enhanced revenue cycle capture Active participant in finance, marketing and feasibility planning of new services for ASC expansion Responsible for Administrative coverage of three (3) campus sites surgical services departments
