HVAC & Plumbing project lead for commercial buildings including Schools, Correctional Facilities, Libraries, Natatoriums, Industrial Facilities, Laboratories, Data Centers, Food Services Facilities, Historic Buildings, and Museums. *Interface: Coordinate and communicate with owners, architects, consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors from design phase through construction.*HVAC Systems: Chilled Water, Hot Water, Steam, Packaged Rooftop Units, Air-source Heat Pumps, Geothermal Heat Pumps, and Variable Refrigerant Flow.*Plumbing Systems: Domestic Water, Natural Gas, Storm & Sanitary Drainage, Rainwater Harvesting, Fuel Oil Tank/Pumping Systems, Acid Waste, Compressed Air, Vacuum Systems, and Laboratory Gas Systems. *Design Documents: Provide calculations, unit selections, system sizing to create coordinated bid drawings and specifications. *Bidding: Participate in Pre-bid meetings, review and respond to contractor RFI’s, and provide addendum documents.*Construction Administration: Provide shop drawing review, attend construction meetings, review application for payments, review and respond to RFI’s & Change Order requests, provide construction observation reports including punch lists.*Other Tasks: Provide cost estimates, feasibility reports, life cycle analysis, survey existing buildings and systems, peer review of project plans and specifications.
