A Family Caregiver, or Personal Care Aide, supports patients with difficulties completing basic tasks, like people with disabilities, the elderly or patients suffering from mental disorders. Their main duties include administering medications, helping patients complete personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, eating or grooming and following the patients’ prescribed healthcare plan.

Monitors inventory levels and assumes order responsibilities for the Department of Surgery and/or Sterile Processing. Establishes reorder points, order quantities, substitutes and order frequencies. Actively works on reducing inventory levels, establishing just in time ordering procedures, and provides analysis of cost savings and reductions. Ensures products are correctly received and stocked in Adult Open Heart, Trauma, General Surgery, Pediatric General, ENT, and General Surgical Services; acts as a liaison between Purchasing, General Stores and the Department of Surgery and/or Sterile Processing.
