Managed the newly formed Accounting team, including staff development and mentoring and coaching.• Flawlessly executed the new division’s first year audit (conducted by KPMG) by devising and implementing controls, developing and documenting processes, and creating and composing audit work papers for the divisions first year audit.• Led and drove a project team to develop and implement custom data integration that imported actual media spend against the media department’s budgets, and production actuals into the company’s accounting system and film cost models.• Provided oversight of Overture Films’ month-end close and GAAP financial statements; provided oversight of studio’s Accounts Payable/Account Receivable function; and managed Overture Films’ accounting practice in accordance with FASB SOP-02.• Recorded international third party licensee activity; reconciled third party licensee statements to cash; tracked and reconciled film costs; and reviewed and approved participations and residuals reporting to third parties.
