I am a bilingual senior strategic editor and translator currently working for the Federal Government (since 2015). I spent 5+ yrs in an accredited translation firm in the Nation's Capital, where I translated in both English and French, and managed corporate software packages to ensure correct, consistent translations for various federal and provincial government agencies. As a qualified linguist, I establish standardized writing and stylistic principles to ensure clear and concise communications to intended clients at all levels - from media lines to corporate policy, internal guidelines to daily ministerial briefs, in both official languages. I also compare translated documents to ensure transfer of messaging, key ideas, tone and style from source to target document. I create communications plans and strategies for organizations to ensure consistent writing standards and policies and reinforce corporate branding.
