Provided leadership for the Operations function in the eastern region. Provided advice on operations matters to the EVP Tim Hortons US and other management. Monitored and assessed consumer trends and competitive activities. Ensured the operational standards are maintained in the region and directs the ongoing monitoring and reporting of franchisee and company owned restaurants. Provided input to the day to day functions including but not limited to: Accounting, IT, HR, RE, construction and Marketing departments. Staff included a Training Manager, Marketing Manager, 4 Construction Managers and 5 Real Estate Managers.Helped expand the Tim Horton brand in the United States from one store to over 800.Operated the Columbus, Ohio and Buffalo, New York Market, as Company and Franchise markets.Opened new Markets. (Start-up into the U.S. Market)Coordinated with the Senior Director of Development, US and provides input to the Real Estate Assessment Committee (REAC) for effective market penetration.Participated in formulating pricing strategies and policies in conjunction with EVP. Supervised as many as seventy-two Company Rax Restaurants, six hundred employees, five District Managers, one Regional Training Manager and one Maintenance Technician. Specific focus on core regional market in and near West Virginia. Responsibilities include customer satisfaction, field support; Company and Franchise. Vendor contract negotiations, product selection and testing, regional market planning and implementation.
