    Developed quantitative methods for assessing bioresistance and methods ofconstruction and packaging for long term implantable devices.Developed ultra-low power circuit designs for implantable devices to enablerealization of optically telemetered implants with transcutaneous data andpower. Initially these were designed for implantable materials studies andthen later for nerve and sensor data telemetry. Wearable physiologicalmonitoring systems were derived from that work to acquire and displaymultichannel physiological sensor data from performing human and horseathletes.Virtually every aspect of my 30+ year efforts to bring about clinicallyrelevant neuroprostheses can be applied to development of new wearable orimplantable sensor technology for biomedical research, training, andrehabilitation of humans or animals.
