Customers included:Adobe, Boston Scientific, Century Link, General Dynamics, Guidant, IBM, MISO, Sprint, St Jude Medical, Wells Fargo, Zappos.They had problems, I figured out solutions.Some even had me back.Some keep trying to get me back.Wells Fargo actually got me back.

Was hired to spin up a development team.Frequently cooped by various emergencies. (I guess I was the only one dumb enough to do the stuff)Created a close community between in house customers and IT services (As opposed to a us-them situation). Increased in house customer productivity. I got to work with the legendary Matthew Jensen (and the rest of the crew who are among the very best in the business), put in a new phone system, rework and upgrade their network, upgrade servers, introduce virtualization, get an Infiniband mesh working, eliminate an impressive amount of Microsoft products in favor of things that where faster, more reliable and opensource. There was also the interfacing of all sorts of things to large amounts of other things. There was also the interfacing of all sorts of things to large amounts of other things. They had no idea just how useful having the phone system working closely with the SANs could be.Throw in some moving the entire company after some disaster recovery and you have a complete entertainment experience.I cannot speak highly enough of these people.You're wondering how useful interfacing the phone system to the SANs could be?The free space on all the SANs became available as menu entries on the VOIP phones so they never had to ask the engineer again. As is the case in any company, the more disk space you have, the faster the users fill it up. This fairly easy programming project eliminated the need to keep asking the admins about disk space.
