Following a career managing, developing and energising organisations, largely in the not for profit sector, David now concentrates on managing a number of family owned investment structures. The passion for developing and implementing innovative strategies that revitalise organisations still burns and he enjoys the occasional involvement in short term projects that draw on his significant expertise in corporate strategy, from development through to implementation. A believer that organisations are complex, interdependent and interactive entities, his approach is to look at the organisation holistically rather than to merely focus on segments of the business.David's experience as a strategist, marketer, accountant and manager enable him to not only help organisations develop their strategies, but do so in consideration of the requirement for all parts of the business to come together to commit to and facilitate a successful implementation. Any significant strategic initiative generally impacts on marketing, finance, management, human resources, operations, service delivery or production, and has a cultural impact across the entire organisation. Only by considering such individual impacts and developing appropriate implementation plans and project management is the implementation likely to be successful.Outside of his commitment to managing the family's investment interests and the occasional consulting project, David finds time to indulge in his passion for cycling as an active member of Bad Habitz Bicycle Club.
