I am currently taking a gap year from Georgia State University. This time is being spent developing the skill of trading assets, commodities, and currencies in domestic and international markets. My time is being spent utilizing available resources to understand the risks, nuances, and rewards of using derivatives to hedge currency and market risk in business activities. All of these securities and derivatives will be used to structure a portfolio to fund and hedge ventures of an import/export company that can take advantage of shifts in global tides to developing infrastructure markets in the APAC and EMEA regions. I plan to attain the certifications necessary to begin doing this by the end of this FY, and am working to attain business credit and accrue capital via an informal essay writing business and side work until then. While currently furthering my knowledge in this field I am also learning to create algorithms and analyze market data using Python code. My ultimate goal is to have an AI algorithm monitoring my portfolio and controlling risk en passé with me ultimately initiating positions. This will be especially useful utilizing retail trading in the volatile cryptocurrency and futures markets. As I develop this it will be applied to the business portfolio and prop trading department.
