Hello there, and welcome to my profile!I'm a problem solver, mainly utilized within software development but also with puzzles, games, and people!Here I've summarized my life in software, I hope it gives you the information you seek. 😊My passion for and exposure to software started when I was 13 years old, when I created mods for Warcraft 3. It was a journey of trial and error, especially when one isn't native to the English language.Since then, I honed my skills outside of academia, developing various projects, until I started at the Royal Institute of Technology. To be frank, the studies were not meant for me; I thirsted for more and got that chance when I was approached with an offer I couldn't refuse during my third year.This led to me co-founding Mutate in 2004, together with a veteran entrepreneur.Through this journey, to create a new generation of game engine I had an accelerated crash course in everything around building software and a company. I've built entity component systems, data structure compression algorithms, rendering, infrastructure for hot loading C++ code, and a company from scratch. I've had 100s of interviews, pitched to almost every big venture capital firm, created company forecasts, policies, and more.For personal reasons, I have since left the company and started working at Mojang as a Tech Lead. Mojang is an amazing company, and I'm hoping that together we can improve the product and thereby the lives of millions of people around the world.Working at Mojang and with a software as a service game is very different from a tech startup, and I've learned a lot.
