Marshall "David" Ellis is a seasoned financial expert with over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. As the President, CEO, and Trustee of Engineered Capital Gains Solutions, Inc., David has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the most trusted professionals in the field.David began his career in the financial services business in the late 80s, obtaining securities licenses and training in financial planning and investment accounts. In the early 90s, he founded a leading national brokerage that trained and managed advisors nationwide, providing financial services to the middle-class and blue-collar market. David recognized a gap in the market where quality financial services only targeted high-net-worth individuals, leaving others without proper support in setting up their protection and finances. To bridge this gap, David opened a Registered Investment Firm and partnered with top money management to support his field force of agents and hundreds of clients.After being introduced to The Estate Planning Team (EPT), David became a Trustee for them and closed down his RIA to ensure no conflict of interest. EPT created the Deferred Sales Trust over 26 years ago, successfully deferring capital gains taxes throughout the country. With their financial and fiduciary background, David and his team help clients better understand their options and maximize their financial goals.David is proud of his team's long-standing tenure, background in the financial services industry, and vast network of industry-leading experts.
