David Eng is an accomplished and progressive communications, marketing and public relations professional with many years of extensive experience in the multi-faceted and diverse for-profit and not-for-profit national and international arenas. In 1995, he founded David Eng Communications, an innovative marketing and public relations full-service agency providing a unique and unorthodox approach to a diverse roster of clients. He was also Managing Partner of Cross Cultures Communications, a multicultural marketing firm focusing on Asian, Black, Hispanic and Gay/Lesbian markets and Chief Operating Officer of Activation Sports, a sports marketing and public relations firm.As Director of Communications and Public Relations, he has created and managed strategic communications for Gay Men’s Health Crisis and The American Foundation for AIDS Research, where he oversaw special events and program communications; New York City’s Department of General Services, where he helped create the landmark “I Love New York” advertising campaign; The Joffrey Ballet and The Metropolitan Opera, where he directed national and international publicity and public relations.In 2006, Eng was appointed Marketing and Development Director for the Chinatown Partnership Local Development Corporation in New York City.
