• Responsible for all technology efforts at EIA including design and build for customers and all internal systems.• Key subject matter expert on leading edge physical security systems. Leveraged knowledge to pitch new business and lead projects from design to deployment through to maintenance.• Built EIA’s core Opensource monitoring platform using Zabbix software to allow for proactive performance monitoring of customer equipment. Email notifications were used to alert EIA’s help desk when the systems were not performing properly. • Lead security consultant for key accounts, including Nassau County Police Department, Lenox Hill Hospital, SUNY Old Westbury University, which resulted in the design, build and maintenance of high visibility projects (2013 ING NYC Marathon, 2013 Belmont Stakes, 2012 Presidential Debates at Hofstra University).• Consulted senior leadership in major financial institutions on projects, (internal documentation, monitoring and alerting framework and automation, and capacity planning framework) that affected broad business units and cross-organization systems. • Built EIA’s new wireless design practice by learning wireless heat mapping software and its methodology, consulting with other integrators and travelling globally to conduct wireless surveys and designs. As a result, learned the business and created a team of specialists.

• As group lead, oversaw all technologies (networking, desktops, servers, software) related to EIA’s IT infrastructure.• Managed a team of more than 20 technicians and outsourced engineers for various customer deployments ranging from one-time projects to ongoing support. • Key contributor in creating and building the new managed services practice using Network Operations Center, which was built using an open source monitoring platform containing Nagios and Cacti applications running on Linux. • As account manager to company’s largest client, was responsible for presenting to senior management on a monthly and quarterly basis.• To achieve a seamless reporting process, developed and deployed a web-based application to record client’s daily activities. A SQL Server Integration Services projects was also designed to import client data, combined it with the application data and create a data warehouse with reporting level information. The data was extracted using SQL statements to generate PowerPoint presentations. • Contribute to internal initiatives, including developing a web-based PHP application using a MYSQL database that enabled EIA to track employee time and improve cost estimates for projects. • Provided sales design and engineering support to sales team for all enterprise technologies.
