  Product design of bench and hand held electronic measurement instrumentation, including oscilliscopes, logic analyzers, and video measurement devices, and associated accessories. Mechanical team lead for developing Tektronix IsoVu isolated probing systems which relies on a fiber optic connection to minimize Common Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR). Designed for fabrication techniques such as punch press sheet metal, plastic injection molding, magnesium die-casting, overmolding, plastic, aluminum extrusions and metal machining. Responsible for mechanical constraints of electronic circuit boards, including board outline, component envelope and height constraints, mounting hole locations, and grounding schemes. Work with hardware developers to create an architecture capable of passing EMC, shake, shock, vibration, temperature and atmospheric requirements. Thermal analysis and simulation of systems using Solidworks Flow 2012, monitoring IC die temperatures over multiple heatsink and environmental scenarios.
