Key responsibilities and goals:Ensure the reliability and availability of all assets in 8 ceramic tile production plants (140 million square feet per month) as well as the mining machinery through a properly applied and followed-up maintenance strategy. Annual Budget of USD 3.5 Million.Achievements:Integration and startup of the mechanical maintenance department, formerly independent in each of four strategic business units (SBUs): ceramic tiles plant, stoneware tiles plant, painting and carpets plant, and automotive and mining machinery. The work team is composed nowadays by 4 supervisors and more than 60 technicians.Implementation and monitoring of the key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring and controlling the management of assets with a methodological and quantitative approach.
