As a professional Videographer working for TAVDS I have over the last few years developed a unique and effective approach when dealing with legal depositions around the world. This has brought me praise from countless lawyers and legal firms and has meant I am able to deal with any situation both on a technical and personal level, creating the highest standards of delivery. My concurrent freelance work as a professional Educator/Writer/Director/Producer/Actor and Drama Teacher,over the last thirty years has seen me work in all areas of Education,Community,and professional Theatre,Film and Television, and led to the writing and direction of over 300 Plays,short films,site specific performance projects and published articles on the original nature of my working methods. As an educator I have worked from primary school to university level, for institutions as diverse as the Bloomsbury Theatre,London, Save the Children, City of Westminster College, Rainsford High School and Bird College. I was also head of acting for a range of weekend theatre schools throughout the country for 25 years, from Theatre Train to Theatre Workshop to the Wokingham theatre and Debbie Fyffe Theatre Schools, to Genesis Theatre Schools where I created and developed a new approach to creative industries for young people. I am therefore well versed in creating projects for and working with students of all ages in and around the curriculum. I have worked as Company Director for LLT Productions,Carlton,Granada and BBC TV,Merseyside Maritime Museum, Tricycle and Unity Theatres, and Liverpool City Council. I have worked at the Cockpit and Tricycle Theatres,London,as Writer/Director in Residence and Assosciate Artist respectively,and have also enjoyed numerous writing commissions across the UK and am am a previous winner of the Peggy Ramsay Foundation Award. Naturally,the above experience has enabled me to develop a vast repertoire of material and resources across the business world and creative industries, forging links between disciplines and creating a huge body of work for all manner of needs and abilities. As a Director,Manager,Writer and Creative Worker,I am committed to a form that enables expression and recovery to go hand in hand,complete with an understanding of what has happened to an individual and how that creates or changes their perspective of the world.I am the author of 8 books of poetry, essays, plays and arts journalism and a contributing editor to The International Times and recently, The South London Arts Lab.
