• Account Executive for insurance agency specializing in Private Equity mergers and acquisitions.
• Manage San Francisco Property & Casualty practice.
• Manage variety of accounts ranging from middle market to loss sensitive insurance programs, looking to maximize both the short-term and long-term interests of both the client and the Private Equity firm.
• Work with Private Equity firms during the Due Diligence process by reviewing exposures, analyzing policies, estimating costs, and preparing recommendations.
• Build and grow relationships with Portfolio Company in order to retain business outside the standard Private Equity investment cycle.
• Work with clients and carriers to develop risk control and claim service plans and coordinate resolution of related problems when they arise.

• Oversee marketing for commercial lines agency including managing relationships with companies, disseminating new product information, and researching new markets for potential business.
• Market all new business through in-house markets and offsite brokerages, totaling $5MM premium annually.
• Developed internal database of available markets, appetite, and underwriting criteria to ease placement of business for staff.
• Assist in placing any difficult renewal business, and offer guidance to account managers with any questions pertaining to the marketplace.
• Train and educate all employees on rating systems, company appetites, and changes in the market.

• Assist as contract underwriter for GL, Property, Business Auto and Garage Liability business.
• Broker business that does not meet underwriting contracts, i.e. Umbrella, Professional Liability, etc.
• Process, proofread and mail invoices, binders, endorsements, and policies.
• Compute rates and premiums for new and renewal business.

• Develop and deepen relationships with brokers. Manage account placement with broker markets.
