I am an independent business owner, providing comprehensive cellar consultation and cellar management. In addition, I am one of the very few certified Cellar Appraisers for the Northwest, should you have any Divorce/Asset Dissolution, Estate, Probate, or Insurance needs, especially those that require a Certified Appraisers consultation and report.I have had the good fortune over my 25 years in the wine industry to have represented some of the best known producers and importers within the wine world. Importers such as Kermit Lynch, Pasternak, Negociants, Palm Bay, Domaine Select Wines, Summa Vitis, Vias, Kysela Imports, Weygandt-Metzler, Jose Pastor, Becky Wasserman Selections, Champagne et Village, Wine Traditions, Rare Wine Co., Triage Imports, Marco de Grazia, Neal Rosenthal, Vintage 59, Jorge Ordonez, Eric Solomon, United Estates, Diamond Greek Imports, Jenny et Francois Imports, Michael Skurnik Selections, and last but certainly not least Louis-Dressner Imports.To best represent these myriad of portfolios and regions, I have had the unparalleled experiences of traveling to Italy (both northern and southern), Sicily, Lipari Islands, Slovania, Austria, Germany, Spain (Catalonia), and three trips to France (covering most of the major AOCs) to visit producers, experiencing regional dining, and to connect with the wine growing regions on a intimate basis. As well as yearly visits to the Western States wine growing regions.Specialties: European regions, special fondness for those that are esoteric/autochthonous. My true speciality is food and wine pairings, as I had the wonderful experience of making more than 4000 menu pairings for the 6 course prix fix menu that changed weekly at the James Beard award-winning restaurant, Beast in Portland, OR since Jan. 2007. I have also found a profound passion for teaching about wine as well, everything from wine 101, specific regions and the great producers of those areas, to how to pair food and wine for any occassion.
