My job duties included: pricing and purchase of a diverse group of products (fuel, lube, cleaning products, painting supplies, engine parts and equipment, safety products, variety of parts for vessel equipment), tracking high ticket items (engines, generators, shafts), negotiating lower prices with vendors, inputing product and price information into purchasing software for accounting purposes, and managing inventory levels of all stocked items.

Prior to being sold in 2013, Abdon Callais Offshore operated 50 offshore supply boats in the Gulf of Mexico. My job duties included: interviews, new hire orientation, scheduling safety classes, tracking employee licenses and certificates, payroll, coordinating crew changes, and managing any and all personnel issues.
